Please find listed below a schedule of paid public holidays in the Republic of Ireland for the calendar year 2021 which you may wish to note for planning purposes:

Note: as 25 December 2021 and 26 December 2021 both fall on a weekend, employees will be entitled to one of the following:
(a) a paid day off within a month of the public holiday;
(b) an additional day of annual leave; or
(c) an additional days pay.

Good Friday (2 April 2021) in not a public holiday although some schools and businesses do close on that day; however, it is important to note that there is not an automatic entitlement to time off work that day.
